How do I print on campus?

This depends on which community you belong to. Seminary faculty and students have their own printer/copier on the 4th floor and it recognizes them when they scan there. Printers on other library floors will not recognize their cards.

Guests may print on floors 2,3, & 5, but they must first get a guest card at the main checkout desk on the 2nd floor. Staff there will explain the process.

Current Calvin students, staff, and faculty:

Option 1: Use the PaperCut printer installed on your Calvin computer (faculty, staff), or on a Calvin lab/public computer (student, faculty, staff)

  • Print from within the application you are using and select either the "PaperCut-MFD on" or "PaperCut-LSR on" depending on whether you'd like to print using an MFD or Laser printer.

Option 2: Use the PaperCut Webprint system.

  • Go to and login with your Calvin username and passphrase (note: you must be on campus/connected to Calvin's physical network or eduroam wireless)
  • Click "Submit a Job"
  • Choose the printer with the options you need (for example: PaperCut-LSRqueue-B&W-2sided (virtual) will print to any Laser printer in 2-sided black & white).
  • Click "Print Options and Account Selection" at the bottom of the page
  • Select the number of copies and the cost center to charge the print job to
  • Click "Upload Documents" and drag the files to the browser window or click Upload from computer and browse to the file location
  • Click "Upload & Complete"
