What's the process for asking for a digital copy of a video?

Answer

We recommend that faculty who want a film digitized for a class first consult with their liaison librarian. The lead time for this to happen can be several weeks, so we urge faculty to plan ahead. There are different processes in place for videos that the library owns as opposed to videos that we must purchase or obtain from a streaming service. Copyright law comes into play here, too, so it's important to consult with a librarian before placing a request.
