What does the status "in process" mean in the library catalog?

Answer

"In process" means that the item is in the building but not yet on the shelves. To find out which books are in process, you can use the Acquisitions Status Viewer which also allows you to find out which books have been ordered. There's also a form that faculty, staff, and current students may fill out to request that an item be "rushed."
